COLLONIL’s history streches back to 1909 : 100 years ago. COLLONIL, which is established by three founders, Karl Esslen and Salzenbrodt brothers in German, east Berlin, had been as prosperous as usual even during the 1st and the 2nd world-war period.
After the 2nd world-war, Salzenbrodt brothers undertook the company after it had been moved to west Berlin. From then, they started laying groundwork for distributing the highest quality products all over the world. Now, there are 14000 square meter scale of factory and head office in near Berlin.
In 1930, COLLONIL opened its first foreign branch in Austria and released out-door products for mountain climbing, skiing and so on. COLLONIL’s innovative aspect was reflected on outdoor products. Many of mountain experts uses COLLONIL’s products while they are challenging for extreme mountains such as Mt. Everest and the products has been certificated for its quality in many countries including Germany and Austria.

In the fall of 2013, COLLONIL SHOE CARE KOREA visited the head office of COLLONIL and had a look at its high quality products and its manufacturing process. They discussed about the way to cooperate in providing better products to Korean customers.
