Angelus made shoe care products by himself to give satisfaction to his customers, and now these became products that other shoeshines and shoe-care experts covet . Paul Angelos moved to L.A and started to expand his business from a shoeshine stand to making shoe care products. In 1917, he registered Angelus trademark in USA and became an entrepreneur who has 5 stories of manufacturing facilities.
From 1930 to 1940, Angelus was highlighted for the best shoe care products in USA. However, in 1947, Paul Angelus decided to sell out the company. New owner seek only after profit, so Angelus started to loose its reputation of their high quality products. In this hard situation, Paul and his son, George took the company over again and ran the business with honesty, best quality and diligence as their virtues so that they became the best shoe care product company in USA industry.
